Ikeda was a common name in Doma--both of clans and of settlements--and likely why she chose it.She was raised in Doma under the Imperial occupation, and like many of her peers she knows tragically little about her own culture. Today, she hunts down Doman artifacts and procures them to return to her homeland. Sometimes it's above board. Most of the time, it's not.If it involves a war-criminal sitting fat and pretty on spoils of imperial occupation, it will always be bloody.

Rin remained an active member of the resistance until Doma was liberated. She acted as a foot-soldier and (admittedly subpar) medic in smaller operations. Fellow Domans may have fought with her or known her in passing. She was vague about her history and, oddly, spoke native Doman as if it were a second language. Local legends varied. Sometimes it was a grieving mother, daughter, or lover. Others said that it was the vengeful spirit of a villager who was executed during the failed Doman rebellion. What was always the same was that a lone woman would lure Imperial soldiers away from their posts and their bodies were rarely found. If you were a low-ranked Imperial officer on fringe-duty, she may have tried to kill you.World Traveler
While she is based out of Limsa Lominsa, Rin rarely stays in one place long. She is almost constantly moving throughout Eorzea and beyond, with a special interest in regions once occupied by Garlemald. If you also suffer from wanderlust, you may recognize her as a familiar face at a variety of ports.
